The first half of this year involved quite a lot of travel and now is really the first time I’ve had an opportunity to catch my breath and share some of what I saw. For me one of the highlights was Hong Kong. I really enjoyed it. Very different atmosphere to mainland China. So scenes from Hong Kong seems like a good place to start…
Here something as simple as a street sign becomes an example of the familiar and the exotic – at least to me!
And then there are the streets…
and what you may find just walking around
My flight times meant I wasn’t able to go with the group to dinner. So instead, before I headed for the enormous airport, they took me up onto to the roof of the restaurant for a view of the Hong Kong cityscape by night.
I absolutely loved it. Judge for yourself…
Unbeknownst to me while I was busy photographing scenes from Hong Kong my friend and colleague Catherine Samy was photographing me! She sent this to me later under the subject heading A man in HK for the 1st time…
