Thank you for being part of our first session in the 3-part Discovery Suite, taking a closer look at the world of NLP.

The practical tools and techniques available, as well as the possibilities that go with what some may call an “NLP mindset” are vast and it was great to share just a flavour of this with you. Knowing more about NLP means to know more about what works and to really look at the question ‘What is the difference that makes the difference?’

The next in the series, should it be of interest, is ; ‘Discovery Session 2: Mastering the Coach Approach’. Ian will be joined by Master Certified Coach Pamela Richarde and they will guide you through an experience of discovering how coaching skills can help you get the best out of yourself and others.

Download Problem v Outcome Frame Questions >

Please continue to practice using these questions in your life, and let us know what you begin to notice. The questions you ask – and how you ask them – really are essential to shaping people’s experience, including the questions you ask of yourself.

Download Four Pillars of NLP >

Understanding the four key principles – or pillars – that underpin NLP begin to give you a roadmap of the different tools and techniques that are available to you. All the practical skills you can learn will in some way influence a new way of thinking in one of these four areas, and often they intersect as Ian said.

Free chapter download – What do you want?

This free chapter from Ian’s book ‘Manage Yourself, Manage Your Life’ addresses the question ‘What do you want?’.

Learning how to ask this seemingly simple question correctly, can have very powerful results – it could even be life changing. That is because behind it is one of the most important life skills you can master if you want to effectively manage yourself and your life. In truth if NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) had nothing else to offer the world, the fact that it has developed clear, systematic and practical ways of helping people work towards finding out what they really want, would be enough to make both business and individuals sit up and take notice.

Further Learning

As mentioned during the session, two good places to begin to discover more about NLP are Ian’s books; ‘Manage Yourself, Manage Your Life’ and ‘Principles of NLP’. If you’re ready to jump into a certified programme, or would like to know more, then please take a look at ourNLP Practitioner Programme with Neurosciencewhich we will be running online later this year.

Please let us know if you would like to be in touch and are curious to find out more.

To life-long learning.
