About This Coach

Paulette McDermott MSW, MCC has worked with individual and corporate clients since 1975. After 20 years as an experienced psychotherapist she retrained as a Coach. Having seen the limitations of interventions that came awfully late in the day, she sought to provide the means for clients to make the changes they wanted before critical issues began developing. She is a Master Certified Coach (MCC) and fully accredited by the International Coach Federation.

Having worked in a large US hospital as both a psychotherapist and a supervisor for twenty years she has extensive experience of the challenges facing those in the medical and paramedical fields.

As a prominent Board Member of a not-for-profit agency she has been responsible for hiring and firing staff in the non-profit sector in the US. Long familiar with managing multidisciplinary teams, she has worked with board members, executives and senior managers and has many years experience in mediation and dispute resolution.

Paulette is also a Mentor Coach and supervises coaches. She has an international coaching practice and is equally at ease working with clients face to face or by phone.

She enjoys dual citizenship, is resident in both the US and UK and, given her Spanish heritage, is very aware of the importance of cultural issues for both individuals and organizations.
